It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art
This week, we have a Finnair ATR72-500 resting at its base of Helsinki Vantaa Airport as it is prepared for its next regional trip.
The ATR72-500 aircraft are operated by Nordic Regional Airlines (NoRRA) on behalf of Finnair – a company 60% operated by Danish Air Transport and 40% by Finnair. The airline operates 12 ATR72-500 aircraft, as well as 12 Embraer E-190LR aircraft, used for longer but thinner routes that do not demand the use of Finnair’s smallest aircraft (the Airbus A319).
The aircraft are in the process of a refit, where the old NoRRA branding is removed and new Acro Aircraft Seating being installed (with the refurbishment due for completion during Q1 2020).
For reference , this is how they looked in the past.
