It’s Thursday and it’s still my week off – so it’s time for some more airplane art.
This time we have an Lufthansa Boeing 737-300 on final approach for its home base of Frankfurt Airport, completing another short haul mission for the airline.
Lufthansa used to operate both the Boeing 737-300 and Boeing 737-500 recently, until these were phased out in favour of the Airbus A319, A320, A321 and A320neo aircraft
This aircraft – D-ABEN joined the Lufthansa fleet in January 1993. It was named Neubrandenburg. The aircraft exited service in October 2016, where it was parked for a short time.
The aircraft was reactivated Sunkar Air of Kazakhstan and registered as UP-B3719 where it currently is active.
More airplane art tomorrow!
