It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art.
This week, we have a Virgin Atlantic Airbus A330-300 on final approach to London Heathrow Airport as it arrives from another long haul duty.
Virgin Atlantic operate a fleet of 10 Airbus A330-300 aircraft in its long haul fleet, where it supports the airlines operation with the Airbus A330-200, Airbus A350-1000 and Boeing 787-9.
The airline is due to take delivery of new Airbus A330-900neo aircraft in 2022.
This aircraft – G-VKSS is name Mademoiselle Rouge. It joined the Virgin Atlantic fleet in February 2011, making the aircraft just over 10 years old. It hasn’t flown much, as the aircraft was stored due to the pandemic.
It contains a three-class configuration, with 33 Business Class seats, 48 Premium Economy and 185 economy class seats.
