We’re at the point in the year when time is an unknown variable. Days and hours seem like odd concepts until the new year.
But according to my calendar, it’s Saturday, so it must be time for Last Week at Economy Class and Beyond.
Sunny winter mornings at Moor Street Station, Birmingham.

Next Week
I’m still expecting things to be quieter than usual – even though there’s been a big incident with the Azerbaijan Airlines incent on Christmas day (and I urge you to stick to the major outlets for updates on this. Speculation is never a good thing – especially when there are lives involved).
Our end-of-year notes, along with our usual items, will be out over the next few days, as well as any headlines that pass over our newsdesk.
Until then, please have a safe rest of the festive period.
