It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some Airplane Art.
This week, we have an American Airlines Boeing 787-8 on final approach to Chicago O’Hare International Airport as the evening sun closes in.
American Airlines operates 37 Boeing 787-8s in its widebody fleet. The airline also operates Boeing 777-200ER, Boeing 777-300ER and Boeing 787-9 in its widebody operation. These are used for both domestic and international services, connecting hubs and destinations across the American Airlines network.
This aircraft – N877BF – was first flown in December 2020 and delivered to American Airlines in October 2022. Recently, it has been based out of Dallas-Fort Worth and Miami, flying to Paris Charles de Gaulle, Kahului, Kailua-Kona, Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires.
More Airplane Art next week.
