We’re deep into February, with Lent, the Lunar New Year and Ramadan all occurring on the same week. But the news cycle doesn’t stop – so it’s time for Last Week at Economy Class and Beyond.

LNER Class A3 4472 Flying Scotsman (60613) steaming at rest whilst it waits for its passengers on a charter by Vintage Trains. The Scotstman is travelling around a lot at the moment, with stops at the Great Central Railway, East Lancashire Railway, as well as its home, the National Railway Museum in York, and at Locomotion in Shildon.

Next Week
I’m hoping that many things will resolve themselves in the background this week, as there’s been a fair bit going on in my personal life that has not been welcomed.
That’s the best way of putting it, and as much as I’m willing to disclose.
I’m hoping to get the final parts of my Asia trip published next week, which should bring an end to another epic trip report, whilst I start to ramp up for another trip in a few weeks (providing the stars align).
On top of that, we’ll have our usual mix of news, views, and anything else that grabs my fancy to write about.
Until then, Happy Landings!
