It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have an Air India Airbus A350-900 rotating and taking off from London Heathrow Airport as it begins its journey back to India.
Air India operates a fleet of six Airbus A350-900 aircraft in its widebody fleet. The airline also operates Boeing 777-200LR, Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 787-8 and Boeing 787-9 in its widebody operation.
Together, these aircraft link hubs in India to destinations across the world.
The aircraft shown is VT-JRI. The aircraft first flew in November 2023, originally to be taken up by Aeroflot. Instead, it was delivered to Air India in May 2024. The aircraft has remained in the Air India fleet since then. In recent days, the aircraft has operated from its Delhi hub to New York-Newark, Rome-Fiumicino, Hyderabad and London Heathrow.
More Airplane Art Next Week!
