The TiSeat S brings the company’s proven titanium and carbon fibre technology into the business class segment. Designed to elevate the experience of business class travellers across aircraft platforms, the new seat family addresses a longstanding gap in modern premium seating options.

TiSeat S is designed to deliver up to 40% lower weight, compared with current industry standards, significantly reducing the total cost of ownership, while maintaining the robustness and reliability required to support long-term fleet value.

In the first instance, Expliseat will be targeting E-Jets and CRJs, allowing airlines to unlock a new balance between premium comfort and operational efficiency, where weight savings directly support enhanced passenger experience and product differentiation. The seat family is designed to scale seamlessly to single-aisle aircraft, including A320 and B737 families, as well as integrating extended-range features such as IFE and enhanced passenger amenities.

The new platform strengthens Expliseat’s nose-to-tail cabin strategy, complementing TiSeat 2X with a coherent design language and shared engineering architecture across economy and business class cabins.

The seat features an advanced all-carbon fibre backshell, advanced cushioning, ergonomically integrated storage, and seamless personal device usage – while maintaining a structure engineered for long-term reliability, whilst keeping to the Ti roots of using Carbon fibre and Titanium to lower weight.

I have absolutely no dog in this fight but to my untrained eye the seat looks very bare bones and the padding looks painfully thin.
