Codeshares continue to be the name of the game, with Saudia expanding its codeshare cooperation with Delta Air Lines, Air France-KLM and Virgin Atlantic to enhance its connectivity to North America through European hubs.

The enhanced agreement will enable Saudia guests to access nearly 30 destinations across the United States and Canada via Paris Charles de Gaulle, Amsterdam Schiphol and London Heathrow, offering greater flexibility and more travel options.
These new codeshares expand Saudia’s footprint, with the airline having more than 26 codeshare agreements and providing Saudia passengers access to over 100 additional international destinations.

The calm before the launch
Like its fellow Saudi-based airline, Riyadh Air, Saudi is lining up its services and connectivity. Notably, this will match Riyadh Air’s already established codeshares with the three airlines
The agreement comes ahead of Delta’s planned launch of flights between Atlanta and Riyadh on 23 October.
With more codeshares, there are more options for passengers, providing onward connectivity through the agreement, as well as providing airlines with further information to assess which routes are viable in the longer term.
