Dear Grammar and English Checkers out there.
What you’ll find in this blog is a poor collection of language and execution of the English Language for which I can only apologise.
I however ask for moment of silence and some of your understanding as I explain my thoughts… and some issues I have – and have to muddle through most days.
For some of us, it is very hard to use the grammar features in the tools we have.
Also, being mildly dyslexic it does affect the way I type and how I interpret information (both in terms of getting the information into my head as well as getting the information out in a written and thought form).
Thus sometimes my spelling isn’t 100% accurate and my grammar can be lacking some days of the week (especially on the longer posts I write when I’m hitting the best part of 2500 words a post – yes I do double-check, but things fall through the cracks when you’re editing and tired).
Now, I’ll freely admit I’m not perfect with my typing and maybe computers have allowed me to be even sloppier than I was in the past – least of all my grammar was never hot to start with either. But I try to muddle through. It may take the odd poke to get it done, or me to walk away from a post for a few hours, but I’ll get around to quadruple reading a post
This isn’t a “woe is me most”, rather a post to inform you of the situation I’m in when it comes to writing this blog (which has occupied my spare time for a few years now).
I’ll try to improve the writing, slowly and step by step. For now you’ll have to accept me – grammar warts and all.
Thank you.

I truly appreciate the hard work of all bloggers, just to benefit travel community, for no charge at all.
Yet some people find reason to complain about grammar and spelling mistakes, I challenge those whiners to write few blog post during workday for one week.
I could barely find time to read blogs during weekdays and it’s amazing that bloggers could write such interesting and informative blogs everyday.
Hope bloggers could ignore comments/complain of these “baby” whiners and focus on their awesome blogging.
Cheers to our great bloggers!!

You just keep blogging away with all the helpful information you have. If you spell it wrong or the grammer is off a bit, we’ll figure it out just fine. People that complain about this stuff have too much time on their hands.
Thanks for doing what you do.

It is a lot of work. I have an anal retentive personality and consider my writing skills better than most, but I still find dozens of mistakes in my writing. Hopefully the readers weren’t too abusive.

Thank you all for support and understanding – it does mean a lot when I’m trying my best to get the amount of stuff I write out of the front door.
The readers weren’t abusive, but it’s been hitting at times when I’m in a massive edit, and not overly motivating when those messages hit the inbox.
I know I shouldn’t take it to heart – but when you’re editing a 2500 word post… it isn’t easy.
Thanks all for your support again 🙂
