… I haven’t been looked after better by British Airways.
After seeing the plane push back infront of me, I was told there was no redemption space on the next flight.
As I headed down the bowels of T5, and walked to T5B customer service, i checked what redemption opportunities were available – and lo and behold – the latter flight became available to redeem. As such, I was filling in the booking form.
That’s when I got to T5B customer services and had a chat at the agent, who rebooked me onto the late A380 service to Frankfurt (meaning I would be getting off the plane, and getting straight back on it). This is also where I discovered my passport decided to have an adventure by itself around T5C.
What’s the term? It never rains, it pours.
I was issued a new boarding pass (very kind of the agent and BA to switch might flight… as well as un-offloading me from the evening flight), and the agent kindly discovered where my passport was – at T5C.
Another hike back to T5C and my passport was retrieved.
Rather than hanging around the back-end of T5, I decided to head back to T5A. After clearing Fast track, my passport decided to have an aventure just before security. Thankfully again, it turned up within a minute.
So… if bad things come in three’s, I must have had mine today…right?
Oh, and the Heathrow Hotel Hoppa. 35 minutes to get from one point to another… it would had been quicker and easier to take the N9/140….
