I’m a bit late with this one, but it’s still worthy news – as American Airlines first Boeing 787 is now all assembled, and has had a visit to the paint shop.
The plane has now got some very pretty colours on it, as it takes on the “new” American Airlines colours.

Time is ticking as the first 787s are expected to be delivered in 2014, and the first services flying in 2015.
American Airlines will take delivery of 40 Boeing 787s, mixed between the 787-8 and the 787-9 series aircraft.
International services and destinations for this new plane have yet to be announced, but the Boeing 787 suits the new American Airlines livery nicely…
