It’s Saturday again, so it’s time for some more aviation videos as we settle into the weekend. So please fasten your seatbelt, stow your tray table and ensure your baggage is secured as we go to this weeks videos.
This week we’re going to take a look at the Bombardier CSeries Aircraft – in particular the CS300 which completed it’s first test flight yesterday.
To get to the point where they get to the first flight takes a lot of effort – as can be seen from the campaign below:
The work that goes onto get to the point of first flight is immense – both in terms of human and aerosystems that are required to get a plane in the air.
Even the air-to-air footage has to be carefully planned, with a to-be-delivered American Eagle Bombardier CRJ-900 providing the air-to-air footage.
And so, the CSeries successfully took off after a short technical issue on the ground.
And landing after its first flight.
Whilst we wait for more re-engineered aircraft to turn up, it’s good to see a new bird in the air – in particular this CS300, as it will be the bigger selling version of the CSeries model.
Let’s hope Bombardier can sell them.
