Flymojo – a new start-up carrier in Malaysia has given Bombardier a boost, with the airline wishing to sign for up to 40 Bombardier CSeries CS100 aircraft.
FlyMojo Bombardier CSeries CS100, Rendering – Bombardier
The start-up carrier has announced with Bombardier a Letter of Intent for the sale of 20 CSeries CS100 aircraft, with options for another 20 aircraft.
Flymojo will be based out of Senai International Airport, Johor and secondary hub in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, and will be boosting connectivity in the Malaysian peninsula (and in turn, increasing business and tourism to the area).
If flymojo turns the letter of intent order, it will be the first operator of the Bombardier CSeries CS100 in the region.
No start-up date has been announced of flymojo, nor have delivery dates been given for the CS100 aircraft.
However, for Bombardier – it’s a welcome thumbs up to the CSeries programme which has been lacking from orders recently.
