Easyjet orgianlly operated Boeing 737 family aircraft, and switched to Airbus for its equipment. Currently, the airline has 85 A320s (with 180 seats) and 149 A319s ( with 156 seats) in service – with orders for 158 more aircraft (100 of which will be for the A320neo).
This makes Easyjet the largest Airbus operator in Europe.
Whilst some people aren’t fans of Easyjet, they do provide a low-cost alternative between many cities. Add in the allocated seating and the airline serving primary airports – there’s not a lot of difference between this carrier and tradition carriers who are cutting everything back in Economy Class these days apart from miles and business class – and these aren’t essential on a lot of intra-European routes…

Interesting that it is registered in Germany. Assume it will be based at one of their bases there. Wonder how many planes easyJet has based in different countries.

I would hazard a guess that that German registration is a “delivery plate”, until the form registration is confirmed and the formal handover of the aircraft is completed.
