Brussels Airlines take Frites to the air

01/07/2016 by Kevincm

Oh Brussels Airlines. I love you in so many ways – from your fanatical support of your football team, the planes you paint with TinTin on the side and those little Avro RJ’s you operate.

However, I’ve developed a new love for you – that you’re bringing Belgian Frites into the air.

Yes. Frites – what some call chips, other call fries. These will feature in Brussels Airlines onboard on-board menu.

You can get them on-board, served with mayonnaise or ketchup depending on how you like your frites.

You’ll be able to get you hand on some Frites when you fly on Brussels Airlines European network – on segments flights over two hours or more

For those of you who want the full Belgian experience, Brussels Airlines will also introduce Warm Belgian Waffles too.

The offering from Brussels Airlines to introduce these items is an interesting one. It’s slightly mad, surrealistic and typically Belgian.

Now, please excuse me. It’s lunch time for me now… and can I get a decent Frite where I am? Of course not….
