It seems flyDubai wants to expand its network further from its current regional operations, with the airline targeting Bangkok as its next destination.

The Low Cost Airline will be adding Bangkok Suvarnabhumi to its network from late November 2016. It plans to operate two flights a day between the cities – based on the following timetable below:
Dubai to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi FZ523 DEPART DXB 01:40 ARRIVE BKK 10:50 FZ521 DEPART DXB 16:20 ARRIVE BKK 01:25+1 Bangkok Suvarnabhumi to Dubai FZ522 DEPART BKK 02:35 ARRIVE DXB 06:55 FZ524 DEPART BKK 12:10 ARRIVE DXB 16:30 Commences: 29th November from Dubai. Operates: Twice Daily Booked Equipment: Boeing 737-800 (Two Class) Data: flyDuabi
These flights are loaded in the flyDubai booking engine, and are available to book for those who are interested.
Lead-in prices start at AED 1,499 return in Economy Class, and AED 3,999 return in Business Class.
Here’s the pricing the airline is offering.
Interestingly for a low-cost carrier – it markets a two-class service on all its flights – with a 2-2 seating up front in Business Class and 3-3 seating in Economy Class.

It goes without saying that flyDubai is going against Emirates – who operate three class services between Dubai and Bangkok, with up to seven flights a day between the two cities.
Each are targeting different segments – Emirates is with its connecting traffic and premium customers. flyDubai is going after the regional and value orientated customers.
It’ll be interesting to see if there is space for both airlines on this heavily contested route
