Airbus is continuing its hard work as it turns the A350 from a sales pitch to actual sales – with the first A350 for China Airlines taking to the air.

The aircraft is progressing as it begins it flight test programme to include further ground and flight tests – as well as cabin completion.
Airbus aim to deliver the new aircraft to China Airlines over the coming weeks.
As for the fleet – China Airlines will operate a fleet of 14 A350-900s – operating initially of regional routes, and then deployed out on the airlines European network.
Inaugural operations will commence on the 30th October 2016 between Taipei and Hong Kong, with routes to Rome, Amsterdam commencing in the new year.
The A350s will join the airlines fleet of A330 and A340. China Airlines also operate Boeing 747-400s and Boeing 777-300ERs in their long haul fleet, supported by Boeing 737-800s for regional operations.
