Sense breaks out: BA and Unite talk, LH and Vereinigung Cockpit also talk.

08/04/2010 by Kevincm

It seems that sense has been slapped into these companies – and not before too long.

British Airways and Unite have resumed talks with”serious progress” had been made and discussions would continue over the next few days.  It’s been noted there will no further strike dates would be set while the talks continued.

Meanwhile Lufthansa and Vereinigung Cockpit have agreed terms to allow arbitration, calling off the strike that was due to start on the 13th April for 4 days (and a certain blogger writing this will not be happy if they’re striking on the 23rd!).

Lets hope some heads get knocked together and some negotiation takes place that will allow people to continue to fly.
