British people become more Sheeple-like – Resistance to the Nude-o-Scope Fading

A conveniently timed release from Unisys states that a lot of British people seem to be Sheeple (according to who they surveyed in the Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Germany, Holland Hong Kong, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, the UK and the USA).

Out of 977 people, 90% of them were happy to be Nude-o-scoped in the UK. In at

In other territories, Germany and Belgium, it was 66% surveyed were in favour, 45% in Hong Kong and 24% in Mexico. In addition, it seems the sheeple of this nation are happy to give away biometric data (91% surveyed)

Of course, there has been objection of the nude-o-scopes, with the inevitable scandal at Heathrow with a security person ogling an image. 

Unisys state

“With airport operator BAA also reporting positive responses to the full-body scanners, it appears that the early controversy surrounding the technology has died down and people are taking a pragmatic approach to their safety.

 However, there is some admittance that Nude-O-Scopes alone are not the answer.

“The question is has the country done enough to subvert another terrorist plot? “What we have done so far is react to threats as they occur, rather than take an holistic view of the threat.”

 … and that’s the essence of security theatre, and how to move forward from it.  Currently, it’s reactionary and dressing up things to be “secure”.

The fact is a different approach may be needed that works better.
