Ever feel like going around in circles? Well here we go again with Unite and BA.
As negotiations have once again failed to reach positive agreement for both sides, the Unite/BASSA Union said it will “strongly recommend” that its members reject the latest offer from the airline.
Of course, if the cabin crew reject the offer, it’s down the road to strike action – although Unite said it would not announce strike dates “at this stage”.
BA is keeping its cards to its chest to the public, and for now has not released its latest offer publicly.
Of course, there is the usual Trade Union vs Management bitchfight going on, which 1) looks messy and 2) gives a really poor impression of the company.
BA of course hardly needs this strike thanks the the last two strikes, and the Volcano ash incident.
Lets hope both side see sense and settle this… otherwise the BA Staff could find themselves all out of a job…
