Time for some extra Airplane p0rn this week, courtesy of British Airways as they begin the last weeks of 757 services within the mainline airline.
For this event, they’ve painted up G-CPET into the classic 1983 Livery designed by 1983 “Negus & Negus”, in the classical red tail.

BA was a launch partner for the 757, with a fleet at it’s peak at 54 frames, and are dwindling down as the aircraft are being readied for withdrawal and selling onto FedEx for freighter conversion.
To celebrate the linage of the series, they have also named the aircraft after a castle – like most of the 757 fleet carried at one point – with the name of “Stokesay Castle” during its final month of service.
For those who don’t want to cross over to the USA and fly 757’s across the pond, BA’s last scheduled flights for the Boeing 757s, which can carry up to 170 customers, will be on Saturday, October 30, 2010.
