Manchester Airport: Ok – Nude-O-Scopes are secondary screening devices…

14/10/2010 by Kevincm

Manchester Airport have quickly made a rebuttal in regard to this morning’s report that they will be implementing Millimetre Wave scanners for all passengers.

The revised statement from Manchester Airport now say that these scanners will remain a “secondary device”, that will replace the traditional pat down hand search and that the scanners have been used only when the initial security arch indicates the presence of metal.

Thefore it is a secondary device.

Logic prevails at last. But as Heathrow, if you fail to agree to a scan when asked, you will be denied the right to travel.
