Well, I have a set of UA flights coming up, so I’m check the loads and seats regularly (least of all to see what bumping opportunities may arise on the trip, but mainly to see if anyone is sat next to me thanks to that wonderfully awful tool called “Seat Selection”).
Imagine my surprise when I checked the seat of one of my domestic segments.
And then another….
What’s this? United has upgraded it’s Lay-z-boy recliners to full suites? Oh. Hang on. Magic words in small letters…
Ahh. Little details. I guess then it’s back to the usual seat on a A319/A320 with United then.
But it does give a minor sense of at least false advertising and hope raising what the on-board product could be.
What’s the term. “Lies, Damn Lies and Marketing?” I think the post title “Lies, Damn Lies, Marketing and United.com” is far more accurate in this case…
