As the cold snap tightens it’s grip on the UK, travel chaos is beginning. In particular, Gatwick Airport is now closed until at least 06:00 on the 3rd December. Edinburgh and Jersey Airports are also closed, with random closings happening everywhere.
Heathrow is open, however delays are stacking slowly.
Elsewhere there are cancellations are happening, with train services operated by Southern suspended, South Eastern running an emergency timetable, Eurostar running half timetable
The advice is to contact your operator or airline to see what is going on. Alas, this is going to impact badly as the weather worsens.
