CX: They want you feel… New Business Class seats.

08/12/2010 by Kevincm

Cathay Pacific have been busy it seems, and as well as new routes, they’ve launched a new Business Class Seat.

So lets do some quick checks:

It’s being installed on a lot of birds:
– On all New long haul A330-300 deliveries (March 2011)
– On all new Boeing 777-300ER deliveries (April 2011)

Rollout will then continue to all Long Haul A330-300’s and 777-300ER by 2013 – a total of 50 aircraft

The seat and the bed form out to some nice numbers:

Long Haul A330’s will be deployed on the Austrailan runs, and the 777-300ER’s will see action to New York, Los Angeles and London.

Initial impressions are positive, and a welcome change from the Herringbone style seats that are currently used – however, the proof in this pudding is in the eating. And I bet flyers will be eating this up from March next year….
