KE: Goes for the lowest density A380

29/12/2010 by Kevincm

Korean Air have annouced how they’re going to configure their A380’s.

And it’s an intresting configuration, with 301 Economy seats down the back, 94 business seats on the top deck for business class, and 12 seats at the front.

That’s 407 seats only on the plane – which isn’t a lot in comparatively to some other carriers (Air France’s 538 seats come to mind).

The A380’s are to enter  service in May 2011, initially on short-haul routes to Japan and eastern Asia, then when ready, they will be deployed to USA and Europe in August.

It’ll be interesting to see the seats and the space on it… and see how Asiana, JAL and ANA react…

And it’s almost tempting enough for me to get a bunch of points on SkyTeam to redeem on Korean Air…
