BA: Snow – it’s got a cost attached…

06/01/2011 by Kevincm

It seem the snow has a sting in it’s tail, with the snow in the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States last month, which will cost it about  £50 million in the third quarter of its current financial year.

Which is a lot of dough no matter how you look at it.

The losses are down to less passengers carried, with airports closed and reduced capacities available to send people around, with capacity down by 12% year on year.

Let’s hope we don’t have another round of snow eh?
