EY: Attacks Manchester and Paris with more services

10/01/2011 by Kevincm

Eithad is getting busy and is announcing more services and changes to services. Highlights include:

  • Bangalore goes from 4 flights a week to 7 flight a week service (Daily)
  • Brussels goes from 6 flights a week to 8 (Daily +1)
  • Geneva, Milan and Beijing increasing from 5 flights to 7 fights a week (Daily flights)
  • Manchester going from 7 services a week (daily) to 10 services to Abu Dhabi.
  • Paris goes from 10 flights a week to double daily (14 flights)
  • Chicago will “go large” with a 777-300ER rostered to the route.

This starts in the Summer Timetable, with lots of extra capacity out there. If it surivives to the Winter Timetable, it should be an impressive service.

It seems the fight for flights in the Middle East is well and truly joined now…
