ME: SkyTeam confirms MEA to join.

02/03/2011 by Kevincm

The “Quality” airline alliance that is SkyTeam has confirmed that MEA is to join the alliance after negotiations.

This makes it the second Middle Eastern airline to sign up to SkyTeam (along with Saudi Arabian Airlines)

Membership is set for 2012, allowing system integration and code-share integration.

MEA operates a fleet 15 aircraft, mainly Airbus A330-200s, A321-200s and A320-200s.

As I’ve stated with a lot of SkyTeam new members…. “Yet another Quality Airline….”
