The low cost wing of BMI – BMI Baby has annouced changes for it’s Autumn/Winter programme for 2011.
The main changes are…
From Belfast City (BHD):
From Autumn/Winter 2011:
Six-Times Weekly service to Amsterdam (Commencing 31/10/11)
Two-Times Weekly service to Geneva (Commencing 17/12/11)
For Summer 2012:
BHD to Malaga, Alicante, Palma, Faro and Ibiza
East Midlands (EMA)
East Midlands Airport to Chambery (Commencing 16/12/11)
East Midlands Airport to Toulouse (Commencing 23/12/11)
Cardiff and Manchester
Will loose all BMI Baby services completley at the end of the Summer Timetable.
With the services being withdrawn, Cardiff has no BMI presence at all remaining, whilst Manchester will retain a BMI mainline service to Basel, the BMI Regional Network that operates from there and the leased service to Lufthansa providing a Manchester-Frankfurt service.
Some might call this service realigning. Some might see it as fiscally challenging times, and sending the aircraft where they can make more cash……
