It seems the wonderful union known as the National Union of Rail Maritime and Transport Workers has decide to launch a strike against Heathrow Express over pay.
Ah yes, that is the sound of universal groaning I hear in the background.
Strike dates are set for the 27th and 28 May, commencing at 03:40 for 48 hours.
Service during these times is limited:
Paddington to Terminal 5, via Heathrow Central Terminals 1 & 3
The first train service will depart Paddington at 08:10. Services will continue to depart at 40 and 10 minutes past the hour until the last service at 19:10.
Terminal 5 to Paddington, via Heathrow Central Terminals 1 & 3
The first train service will depart Terminal 5 at 07:57. Services will continue to depart at 27 and 57 minutes past the hour until the last service at 18:57.
Heathrow Central Terminals 1 & 3 to Terminal 5
The first train service will depart Heathrow Central at 08:26 and take only 6 minutes to Terminal 5. Services will continue to depart at 56 and 26 minutes past the hour until the last service at 19:26.
Note, No Heathrow Connect Service will run, nor will services outside those times. Use Tube, Bus or Taxi as needed.
