With the oncomming storm that is the Airbus A380, Korean Air will be upping it’s frequencies from 7 times a week to:
From 11th June – 6 times a week with a second service 7 (a Double frequency to Seoul on a Saturday)
Equipment rostered for this additional service is a Boeing 747-400
From 22nd July this is bumped up to 10 services a week with extra services on Monday and Friday.
For these flights, the equipment rostered will be a Boeing 777-200ER, with the upgraded product aboard.
Now, for those of you who are A380 Fans, the big date for your calendar is the 26th September, when deployment begins. At this point, frequencies go back to daily single flights, with A380 serivces operating on Monday, Wednesday and Friday – so if you want the A380 product, time your travel carefully.
