it seems nothing goes right for Air Southwest
After loosing money hand over foot, being sold to Eastern Airways, the final nails in the coffin are looming with the shut down of Newquay and Plymouth routes from the 14th September.
In short – the airline will cease to exist at that point.
Flights from Newquay simply didn’t make money without Plymouth, so it’s been decided to pull:
Newquay to Glasgow,
Newquay to Guernsey, Jersey
Newquay to Manchester
In addition, the following services will be pulled on the 30th September, ending Air Southwest services:
Newquay to Aberdeen,
Newquay to Bristol,
Newquay to Cork,
Newquay to Dublin
Newquay to Leeds Bradford
For those holding bookings after termination dates, your tickets will be refunded. And for those affected, it’s time to look at tickets on the train, rail or sea.
