CZ: They’re packing them in on their A380’s….

China Southern has announced how many people they’re going to cram into their new A380s.

And cram is the word of the day with 506 seats on the plane, configured as

First: 8 (Lower Desk)
Business: 70 (Upper deck)
Economy: 352 in 3-4-3 configuration (Lower Deck), 76 in 2-4-2 (Upper Deck)

China Southern are due to take delivery of their first Airbus A380 in September, and will operate it initially on domestic routes between Beijing to Shanghai and Beijing to Guangzhou.
