I was just looking at those FRA-HND flights for February for an award to HKG or beyond, however I’m starting in zone 2.
I think CPH is a good starting point if you want to try and make a Z2 start – least of all it will connect with that flight.
I’m trying to shake off a bunch of miles – so I’m starting at FRA (and hoping over from BHX the day before). Availability seems very good on that route surprisingly…

Just one way. Comparing the mileage though, FRA-HND-HKG vs FRA-HKG is a fair olde diversion.
FRA-HKG = 5699 miles
FRA-HND-HKG = 7637 miles (+34% on direct mileage).
I’m sorting out the way home, trying to extract a nice diversion. BKK or ICN is tempting right now….
