It seems the high winds and rain in Scotland are causing havoc with the Met Office issuing a Red Alert serverity warning for the area.
Edinburgh and Glasgow airports are currently open, but delays and cancellations are expected later today as wind speeds increase.
Rail services have been impacted, with services reduced and cancelled, with ScotRail issuing a temporary timetable, CrossCountry cancelling its routes between Glasgow and Edinburgh, and Network Rail imposing a safety limit of 50mph on the lines
Local services are hit too, and road conditions dangerous with the Forth Road Bridge closed until 18:00 local at the earliest.
Utilities are also being hit with power outages too, with schools closed due to the conditions too. Meanwhile for those wanting to head home, the advice for commuters to consider leaving work early because of the possibility of afternoon rush-hour disruption.
Meanwhile the Police Forces of Strathclyde, Dumfries and Galloway, Central Scotland and Lothian and Borders advised against all travel.
