Peach Aviation confirms first international routes

Remember I said that the Low Cost Carrier market is hotting up in Japan? Well Peach Aviation (ANA’s “sort of by itself” offshoot) has announced it’s first international routes.

Based in Osaka, Peach will offer International services to Seoul, Hong Kong and Taipei shortly after launching domestic services to Sapporo and Fukuoka.

The aggressive rollout seems to be rather interesting for what will be a new market for ANA with the dates below:

• 1st March 2012: Osaka (Kansai) – Fukuoka and Osaka(Kansai) – Sapporo(Shin-Chitose) from
• 25th March 2012 Osaka (Kansai) –Nagasaki
• 1st April 2012 Osaka (Kansai) – Kagoshima
• 8th May 2012 Osaka (Kansai) – Seoul Inchon (Single Daily)
• 1st July 2012 Osaka (Kansai) – Seoul Inchon (Three-Times Daily) and Osaka (Kansai)  – Hong Kong
• 30th September 2012 Osaka (Kansai) – Taipei

Listed below are the dates and times of commencement, with Seoul getting the real benefits of the second wave launch in July with 3 flights a day.
