Heathrow Express Strike Action ahead

22/02/2012 by Kevincm

To quote a term “Here we go again”. The RMT has called out the Heathrow Express train route workers on strike over the sacking of a driver.

Six days of action are planned with maddening time points have been announced:

  • 12:15 on Sunday February 26 to 12:14 on Monday February 27
  • 12:15 on Sunday March 11 to 12:14 Monday March 12
  • Additional action by not working additional hours between  0300 on Saturday March 3 and 0259 on Monday March 5

Heathrow Express will be degraded to a 30 minute service (as opposed to every 15 minutes), with Heathrow Connect heavily disrupted – see here.

Strike action – always a pain no matter where you are in the world….
