Flybe upgrades Glasgow to Birmingham with an E-195

23/02/2012 by Kevincm

Flybe has seen there could be money in the Glasgow – Birmingham run, and have decided to increase capacity on the route by switching to Embraer E-195 aircraft

Flybe’s E-195’s are configured in a standard 2-2 seating configuration, with 118 seats installed on the planes (and they’re not that bad to be honest, if FlyBe are heavy on the sales on the plane…)

This will result in services that are operated by either Dash8-Q400’s or E-175’s to switch to E-195 running, with an estimated 70,000 seats available during the current time-table period.

Flybe operates 82 flights a week between Glasgow and Birmingham, and 284 flights a week from Glasgow, and will be opening a lounge at Glasgow in the near future.
