Amazingly, Oneworld finally has a new airline in it’s stables, and it is indeed Air Berlin which takes its place at OneWorld formally today.
Air Berlin formally joins as a full member of OneWorld, with all the usual features (Earning/Redeeming miles on Oneworld metal and Oneworld members able to earn on Air Berlin)
NIKI will also be joining Oneworld as an affiliate member too, adding more options and the chance to fly with Niki Lauder (who is a rated pilot on NIKI’s Airbus A320 aircraft).
And of course, there’s a promo- AirBerlin topbonus members will receive double topbonus award miles when flying on any oneworld partner from today until 15 May 2012 – as long as they register first at airberlin.com/miles.
Similarly, members of existing oneworld airlines’ loyalty programmes will receive double mileage awards when flying on airberlin from today until 15 May 2012. For further details, see your Oneworld member airline website.
