It seem BA is spreading itself across Heathrow widely with the purchase of BMI. This turns into a bigger chaotic picture with the announcement of the Autumn/Winter 2012 Timetable.
Most of this takes effect from 28th October 2012. Those of a nervous disposition should look away now.

That’s a LOT of changes, with some wins, some losses, and the rest somewhere in between. It also excludes the new starter services (London Heathrow to Leeds Bradford, Rotterdam and Seoul Incheon).
There will be flight number changes heading out soon enough as the rest of the winter timetable solidifies.

This is sad. I will have to use BMI’s old lounge in T1 rather than BA’s great new lounge in T5 when I go to Basel….. Life’s tough.

Putting my Star Alliance hat on, it’s indeed one lounge I’m going to miss. Even as a BA Gold I’m going to be missing it more often than not as there’s no open doors any more

I hope they update their online data soon. Old BMI flights from LHR to EDI (BS8xxx) for sale in December are still listed as T1 departures.

I think they’re taking some time to integrate this all. The BMI pill is going to be tough to swallow in some cases…
