Heathrow Express partners with BAA WorldPoints to earn points!

11/07/2012 by Kevincm

For those of you who go in and out of Heathrow on the train often enough, you’re probably paying hand over fist for Heathrow Express tickets.

Well, there’s a chance for a bit of claw-back with Heathrow Express joining the BAA WorldPoints programme as an earning partner (as well as a redeeming partner)

Point earning is simple enough. Book online at https://www.heathrowexpress.com/WorldPointsOnline and follow the prompts, entering your WorldPoints number when prompted.

You’ll get

  • 3 points / £1 between 11 July – 31 August, 2012
  • 1 point / £1 after 1st September

Worldpoints are convertible into useful things such as:

  • Avios Points
  • Miles & More Miles
  • Virgin Atlantic Miles

They’re also convertible into airport shopping vouchers, discounts on car parking and Heathrow Express online bookings. But to be honest, your best value maybe in dumping Worldpoints an airline programme.

Granted, it’s not the most rewarding of programmes – but if you’re spending money on one of the most expensive train journeys in the country (based on a cost per mile), it’s not a bad thing to claw back something from Heathrow Express.

It goes without saying this offer is for Heathrow Express services only, and does not apply to cheaper Heathrow Connect service, nor the Underground…
