For a lot of us in the UK, one of the ways to get extra Avios is to go shopping in Tesco and use the Clubcard programme get the extra points when we can.

Every £2.50 in Clubcard vouchers exchanged between 16 July – 31 Aug 2012 will receive an amazing additional 50% bonus – so you get 900 avios instead of the usual 600!
If you exchange £25 in Clubcard vouchers, you will receive 9,000 Avios, which is enough for a Zone 1 flight to European destinations including Paris, Munich or Milan. There is an addition charge of £27 cash per person*. See below for a full list of destinations for zone 1.
Whilst note as generous as the earlier promotion (where if you converted £2.50 of Clubcard vouchers, you got 1000 Avios), 900 Avios per £2.50 is not to be sniffed at in any way.
The take-away message is this: If you collect Tesco Clubcard points and normally convert to Avios, start boosting your collection of Avios, as it’s a chance to boost your conversion points by 50%
