A fair expansion of where you’ll see Boeing 777-300ER  services operated by American.

Whilst the American Airlines B777-300ER looks pretty up front, be careful if you book your seats down the back. The confirmed layouts for these birds are:

  • First will be 1-2-1
  • Business will be 1-2-1
  • Main Cabin Extra will 3-3-3
  • Main Cabin (coach) will be an uncomfortable 3-4-3

As usual, plan accordingly.

Just when AA was looking attractive versus UA, this comes along making UA’s seating infinitely better than AA’s.

Trust me, even as a minted BA Gold, the AA 77W services would the last possible ones I’d select for a flight anywhere if it’s my cash, and I was sitting down the back.
