What’s in the Air Canada Elite Kit?

07/08/2012 by Kevincm

Continuing the series of what’s in different elite kits, this week it’s the turn of Air Canada who have shipped an elite kit to me.

So I wake up to the thud of this on the doormat

Well they’ve made an effort on the outside, even if the postal services have tried to kill it.

Opening up the kit, and it’s off to the really important fun stuff.

Welcome letter, with card

The card itself isn’t that bad compared to some Elite Cards I’ve had in the past. And at least I can ready my Aeroplan number on it – which took more than enough phoning around to find….

Lets look at the folder of goodies…

a silver envelope with a red logo

A useful informative information leaflet, with a QR tag that has an Air Canada logo in it. Cute (it also shows how much redundancy there is a QR Code…)

What else have we got… ooh. Fairmont Fast Track status. Whilst a nice offer… Fairmonts are a tiny bit out of my price range….

a brown and white flyer on a wood surface

CAD$10 off duty free – always useful considering Air Canada’s duty free is one of the better offerings out there…

a coupon on a table

And my favioute bit… Luggage tags. Air Canada have disposed of the leather straps that some feel so happy with and gone metal baby with fiddly metal rings. Still – quite nice tags…

a red box with a silver cord and a gray card on it

Not a bad kit overall – compared to just the membership card that got off another airline (yes, I’m looking at you Aer Lingus….)
