British Airways/Avios.com have a bonus points offer going on when you buy Avios

It seems British Airways and Avois.com have a bonus points offer when you buy Avios.

Depending how many you buy will depend how many extra Avios you get

• Purchase 1,000 – 6,000 Avios and receive 100 bonus Avios
• Purchase 7,000 – 12,000 Avios and receive 1,000 bonus Avios
• Purchase 13,000 – 18,000 Avios and receive 2,000 bonus Avios
• Purchase 19,000 – 23,000 Avios and receive 4,000 bonus Avios
• Purchase 24,000 Avios, and receive 6,000 bonus Avios

This puts 30k of Avios at £399 – still a bit expensive for my personal tastes, but better than a poke in the eye.

Alternatively, for £255 you can pick up 20,000 Avios via FlyBMI.com as BMI Destination Miles, and convert them to Avios quickly (just ensure it’s all done by the 27th October when flybmi.com goes the way of the Dodo).
