For those of you who shop at Tesco and collect Clubcard points – a big heads up.
The current period for collecting points is coming to an end on Saturday 20th October.
If you’re doing spending and want it reflected in this quarters statement, it needs to be done by the 17th October as Clubcard points take two days to process… and Tesco’s IT can be variable at best.
So far, I’ve seen no special offers for bonus Avios or Virgin Atlantic miles, so this month I’d recommend you either 1) stow them away until there’s a big conversion promotion or 2) use them for actual spending on other things – RedSpottedHanky is a good one if you need train tickets for example.
The normal conversion rates are:
- £2.50 of Clubcard vouchers = 600 Avios
- £2.50 of Clubcard vouchers = 625 Flying Club Miles
Of course, you could use them in store… but why? There are plenty of good offers with Clubcard rewards…
