British Airways is cutting back its London City Airport – Shannon – New York – London City Route with the removal of Flights BA3 and BA4 for part of the Winter Timetable.
The cuts operate from 18th March 2013 to 16th April on a temporary basis.
During this period, the following schedule will operate for flights BA1/BA2.
BA001 DEPART LCY 10:00 ARRIVE SNN 11:15 DEP SNN 12:00 ARRIVE JFK 14:15 (1) BA001 DEPART LCY 13:00 ARRIVE SNN 14:15 DEP SNN 15:00 ARRIVE JFK 17:15 (2) BA002 DEPART JFK 19:10 ARRIVE LCY 07:15+1 (3) (1) Operates Monday Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (2) Operates Friday (3) Operates All days Expect Saturday
The timing of the cuts tally up to the Easter Holiday period and the weeks surrounding it.
Whilst its a shame they’ve had to do this, its better that they cancel this far out rather than a few weeks before.
