The branding features the African Grey Parrot – which according to FastJet’s CEO Ed Winter

“is renowned for its intelligence and is therefore a perfect personification of Fastjet’s motto—smart travel”

Yes, it does sound like someone has been to the Strategy Boutique to get a logo.

FastJet’s first three Airbus A319’s will be painted up in the new livery, before heading to Tanzania and Dar es Salaam for the formal launch of the airline.

FastJet is due to commence operation in November 2012, with eyes on bases in Kenya, Ghana and Angola.

Booking for FastJet commences next week.

Soon it will time to watch if the Stelios ligthning can strike again…

But before you go further, I ask that you please visit my Hurricane Sandy Fund-raising page where Boarding Area Bloggers are trying to raise a donation of $1800… powered by your comments where we donate $1 per comment up to $1800 between the 5 blogs taking part.
